Think this is the 4th time I’ve come back? Unless you count buying MOE back then it’s the 5th!
Some of you would have recently seen I purchased DG from Mick, most of you know I’ve flitted about with this idea for a while.
She will be coming back and then going off to the guys who have built both my R34 and R35 GTR.
The plan will be to have her completely stripped, bare metal glass out respray (keeping her original colour) all rust cut out and replaced.
While this is ongoing the engine is going to be boosted and ‘hopefully’ find a 4wd kit to have her ending up around the 350-400bhp mark running 4wd.
I appreciate that she was very cared for and none of this is to undo the hard work Al put in, the restoration will see her being on the road for atleast the next 10-15years. The body will not change at all, she is in my opinion one of the best looking Cougars out there.
Having recently sold my R34 to the states, it’s freed up enough cash to see this transformation through.
A full build page will be listed shortly!
In true fashion though with my head being scrambled, I had completely forgot that I had purchased Dicks Cougar about 12months ago?! (Those who have me on Facebook will know I was going through a lot late last year - Story for another time!)
Not sure what the plan is with Dicks yet! Perhaps get it back running and then pass it on to another club member to enjoy? Honestly, I don’t know!
So yeah I am back, again!
Current fleet is
VW T6 (family bus!)
XC90 T8 - Beast of a car
R35 GTR (running 1,154bhp!)
DG
Dicks Cougar
And I promised myself this year I would cut down! Admiral loves me
