Hello everyone. Been a long time. Hope I can get lots of good information. I will be going to live in Bulgaria within the next few months, for what will probably the rest of my life and I hate to leave my Bad Kitty behind, but the information you can give me will determine if I leave it behind or ship it to my new home. First, I need to know what fuel mileage you receive. Here, I get an honest 30+ miles per U.S. gallon. I know from living in France many years ago and then a 3 week visit in 2007 that this type of mileage would be laughed at and it would not take long to pay for a new Focus due to the massive difference in operating cost. So, my question is if your mileage is better than mine, do you know why. Is it the computer, different tuning, or some other factor, and which measure is used, imperial gallon, liter, or other. I also must think of how much shipping will add. I will stop for now and ask more questions later, it is 3:45 am here and I need some sleep. Thanks in advance for any info you can give. Randy if your car gets 30 to the gallon in the states it'll get 30 to the gallon in Bulgaria*, it's the price of the fuel that you need to consider, which you helpfully have above.

*Bulgarian 'super' unleaded has an octane rating of 93, which is more or less equivalent to US 'regular' 87AKI, UK fuel has a much higher octane rating than US fuel (typically 95RON(91AKI) or 97RON(~94AKI)) and studies have shown this can give you better MPG.

A UK gallon is 4.536 litres. A US gallon is 3.785 litres. Fuel in UK is about £1.40 a litre = $8.48 a US gallon. Don't know what the fuel cost per litre is in Bulgaria though.
30 to the US gallon is 36 to the UK gallon. Must be a zetec :).
Hope that helps.
