Kobe Steel: Keep an eye on this

Kobe Steel have admitted falsifying quality records on products across the board. For the last 10 years.

While this won't affect structure of our Cougars, the falsified items include the steel belts in tyres... Either way, the full extent of the fraud isn't yet known, so it would be worth keeping some attention to this in case we are in some way affected, (on our other cars, for instance).

I reckon this is the major issue of our time mate - things 'coming out' that have been hidden, things that we thought we knew turning out to be something else. From Jimmy Saville to Lance Armstrong all the way up to big business and government.

Worrying times all the same. I love how they mention copper pipes for Fukushima were in the batches of dodgy gear, then go on to say "They weren't used. They're still in a store cupboard"

VAG in fairness were basically no different to any of the manufacturers using ad-blue. "Makes it look cleaner" "Yes, but does it actually make it cleaner?" "Makes it look cleaner" "That's not what I asked" "Makes it look cleaner"

They made it appear better without actually changing anything.
