However you go about doing this, you need to know not to touch or interfere with the yellow loom. It is completely seperate from the main motor/heater loom. Perhaps with all the confusion that even now surrounds this topic, all those that have done the swap/conversion should simply take photos of their own particular setup and post them into a new HOW-TO thread.

Car age/reg/seats used = etc

Ill post a pic up of how I did it in mine tomorrow.

Mines a sept 99 build date and i fitted seats with a different loom from a late 2000 model

Surely the build date from etis would be more helpful than the reg date?

Hence the "car age".

update:

Build date/reg/year etc in affect becomes irrelavent anyway if you have photos of the coloured wires matched. This has been proved in other applications ie: headlight wiring colours are not always what they are shown to be in the manuals.

It goes without saying that anyone trying that method would do well to avoid doing this to the yellow-sheathed wires.

Way ahead of you. We do not mess about here.

When ForScan played around with my SRS ECU earlier, I guarantee you that I ducked. You know - just in case.

I had a piece of black tape over the one in my Probe as it kept flashing, but I think the rules were different then.

You are Homer Simpson AICMFP.

I will takes pics when i get round to swapping carpet out whrnever that may be. The ones i fitted were converted by lucid for a c1 but my wiring was different from the set up in his car.
