little help before ford fair?

excellent advice add. i will do that! now waiting for the tigerseal to be delivered o_O

thank you for your help once agine add!

all going to plan add. vents are now flush. just have to make a clean sticking with the tigerseal!

i noticed my vents hover over my air filter, which is exposed. im pondering what would be the best way of installing a rain shield.
so far so good!!! Thanks Add!!!!

I had the same problem with mine mate, I had already made a heat shield for mine, so i just made a perspex cover as a temp fix, i am making a proper carbon one for it soon..

thank you ever so much for the ideas guys. i have come up with a neat trick too! i will post pics soon and a how to for bonnet vent installation.
just one minor issue. my "trusting" garage ripped my induction for my duel intake so now i have to mend it tomorrow on top of all my other jobs!
well i guess its off to the shed to scavenge my brothers focus RS parts again loolll!
It just gets better and better! o_O

p.s how did you guys rain proof the drivers side vent? i have one idea, but would love to see others

You don't need to do the drivers side chap, mine is just in the middle between the header tank and the alty belt, so no rain goes anywhere near anything...

I thought the alternator or other internals might suffer from rain damage? i might just be too subconscious about it i guess lol

Thanks for the tip add!

The alty being in the position it's in will get wet and dirty anyway mate, as with most stuff down there anyway, the only things you really want to make sure are covered is plugs and looms etc.. ohh and your air filter..

To be honest, since mine have been bonded in there has not been a lot of water go through any of them.. even the filer side in torrential rain..
