Well been working on this for a month and it is ready finally first sub has a shifted top plate which was annoying but one of my audio supplier's took care of it and shelled out for fast shipping and gave me a free upgrade to a v2 have to say much nicer looking than the v1!! All installed in the box ready to be installed into the car tomorrow box is .44cuft spot on for the sub.

It's only a baby 8" running around 150wrms (can take 300-400) just to help with the staging and mid bass Andrea bocelli(sp?) and celine dion sound great :)

JJ, I love the way you use "only" within that sentence! 150wrms is more than all my speakers put together. Bet it sounds awesome though, nice one matey (y)

Under the dash mate it need a fair bit of running in as it's stiff at the moment but should soften up nicely will need more power I think to integrate well also but want to run it in and make sure, the main reason for it is to turn the beasts down and bring some kick up front going to spend the next month tweaking to get it sounding balanced with the rest.

Yeah thats what i ment, I thought you'd have the center console out were the stereo is and have the sub there? I know that would be a big job, because were do you put the stereo then? (unless you get a touch screen fitted to your steering wheel ;))
 
I have ideas matt but for after shows this year as it's a very big job and I would like to drive it for a bit now not in pieces for a while at least the rewire was a massive undertaking but I at least future proofed it to a degree.

Yeah I'd like to tidy the wiring coming out of my stereo, its like spaghetti soup :LOL:
Not messed about with my ICE for a while now, which is daft seen as i fitted Kullys old sun-visor screens in last year but I haven't really got round to using them. Was watching a couple of Amps like mine on eBay but they sold or the auction ended because no one was buying....not me for sure i'm skint.
 
Well little update sub is now running 440w and what a kick it can give for such a baby sub! I now run the 15" subs turned down to the lowest setting so they just deal with the lowest rumbles of bass the whole system sounds a lot less brutal now and more listenable but still has the ability to rattle your head with the twist of a dial.

Thats what I like to hear (excuse the pun) ;)

Must get you to knock me up a new box for my sub, when I have some spare cash .....:oops: might even go for the ported one? (although it will be a bit larger, so take up a bit more boot space) could do with finding another sub like mine on ebay :geek:
