love this bodykit wish i had the pennys

i would look to swap bumpers completly over if that was the case just wondering if its worth taking a 4 hour round trip to see tommorow and if id get any money back for the 16v my gut says big gamble because its in ayr and everytime i have went through to buy something there in the past its been a reck
going to talk it over with the boss

wife has no said very swiftly no as its ayr well now i know what the kit is i will have to keep my eyes pealed

It'll likely be a long old time before you see another one of these kits for sale, either on or off a car, anywhere in the world. They really are about as rare as they come.

150 bhp Zetec, yeah i think not.

Very possible, if he spent the time and money on the car like it looks then making it up to 150bhp is entirely possible.. there are a few in the club with 150+ bhp.. hey Al.. (y)

wife called him she was going to give in and found timing belt aint been done with 95k so i said no

o_O

Whats the problem with the timing belt?

What i was going to ask, if your going to take the kit off and sell the car anyway it don't matter, and if you keep the car it's quite an easy job.. (y)

timing belts a grey area for me never done one always been a garage job and never had much change out of 200 quid before so i aint going that route
i am one of these people that will not sell something if something needs done
after my insurance renewal having to watch the pennys a bit to would hate to think what a body kit would add

just testing the water if i was to get this would anyone be able to help me fit the kit to mine and most importantly any one intrested in byeing the car as i would need it sold within days of me getting it to try and get some pennys back is a 400quid price tag expensive for a 16v with a new clutch at 95k

Selling it on will really depend on the state of the car once you pull the kit off. Might be easier to swap bumper as they are if the ones with kit on are in good nick so you're minimising potential damage.

Just hope the sills look ok when you pull the skirts off. Worst case, for a £400 car, mask them in a straight line along the edge just below the door, clean them back and Underseal the crap out of them. If you have some silver paint, touch in the screw holes etc.

thanks for the advise just parked it up on the drive its practicly spotless boy would not come down in price though

i need to get the mot done its been layed up in the garage for two months only got this sunday of to prep her looking forward to hearing that rumble
i do have these though
