Matts Cougar - Changed hands

So today was a sad day, it was the day I took ownership of Matts car.
Part of me feels really bad, Taking someones pride and joy and knowingly determining her future by my own selfish needs?
Can I knowingly kill a car off because of my 'wants'
Is it the right thing to do?
Will I be able to live with myself with no going back?
Will I be able to look Matt in the face at meets?

What I thought was an easy option suddenly became a whole lot harder!
Anyhow, a picture of her in her new home :)

Sometimes its better for one to go in order that others will live - it's not like it hasn't happened with countless others.
How many Capris got broken up over the years - now only the best are left.
 
She's yours now Ricky, but I will keep up interest in her future!

I've had two great years of fun but the time is right financially and practically to move on and although my new car is better in every mechanical and practical way, nothing quite beats the emotional pull of a Cougar and just hearing her burble into life once more after around a month was a powerful moment! But enjoy the fun whatever happens to 'Cara'
Just glad she started to be able to get up on the drive after the trouble getting the black one off just a few weeks ago!

Oh and just realised Ricky I've got a third key for the car, I'll pop it in the letterbox sometime this week so you've got the full set

Thanks Matt, it was good to hear her run and see her be able to move (let alone the relief that I could get her off the road)

Your going to break a cougar 2. And a nice lookin' one too.
Ooh that's harsh. And here's me beating myself up cos I cant save a slightly ratty Probe.
