Having looked around the tinterweb, the easiest place seems to be a pub on the Stratford Rd in Shirley called The Saracens Head. There seems a reasonable sized car park and it looks quite an obvious building to see lol.

Snap of pub attached. Also picture of route to Mr & Mrs Harrison's house. It's 0.5 mile away. I think there is a Premier Inn in or next to this pub.


I propose pose we meet between 13:00 & 13:30. Give us all chance to grab a coffee etc and have a little catch up prior to......well......you know what.

Hey Kully, we'll try and get there for then, although we are picking Viv up from Bath along the way, so unsure exactly what time we will get to Birmingham.

Andy - what time are you leaving yours? Perhaps we could meet at the services on the M4 and travel up together, after picking Viv up. What do you think?

Tim, I think we need to allow a couple of hours from my place going via the M5. If we want to arrive around 2 we should be on the way by 12. Let me know if that suits you and we'll sort out a meet point somewhere on the A46 north of M4 junction18.
 
I am guessing it will be easier for me to go the same route as today but I am happy to meet everyone where ever it is easier for the group.

Ok Andy, that would be good. We are hoping to leave Ivybridge by about 9.00am/9:30am to go straight to Viv's. Unfortunately I have to work the night before, so won't get home until the early hours of Wednesday. I have asked to leave at 3am, to allow me a bit of sleep before driving up to Birmingham, but unsure at the moment, as management have said it depends if they need to have me there operationally...arrrrggghhhh!!!! Anyway, if we get away for about 9am, then think meeting up with you at 12pm shouldn't be an issue. Will let you know further by Monday.
 
I'm sorry but due to work commitments I can't make it now. Annoyed but I can't get out of it
