eaton socon
well happy to say melina passed her mot today with no advisorys.

left the dash cam recording and got some interesting talk about her...was nice to hear the tapping hammer noises...no hollow sounds:)
but pleased to say tackwood's eaton socon treated her with great respect despite melina biting his leg with the door:)o_O

bad kitty!

I never had any doubt. Your car is very well-cared-for.

As a side note, my MOT guy says that they aren't allowed to use the hammer anymore. VOSA guidelines (apparently) state that they're not supposed to use anything more than moderate pressure with their thumb.

I don't know how true this is.

Most testers I see use a pen but not the nib end.

Excellent news mate. Yours must be the only car you havent welded :)

on no matt even melina hasn't escaped the horrid red disease.

she's had to have 3 plates welded when i first got her.....and guess what ,they were sill patches..

actually its always the emissions test that scares me ,for some reason she struggled to get through it a couple of years ago yet since then its been fine...but it has put the fear in me as emissions is one of those not so easy to diagnose and fix issues..

interesting what you say about the tapping test chris as you can hear him giving it a good hammering along the floor and sills..

made me laugh as i heard him say he's fitted them hled lights...(hid)..idiot.
