The problem with the MC2 is that it looks like an unfinished 90s concept car. The sort of thing that you'd expect to see in Demolition Man.
I don't hate it - I'd buy one assuming that the body allows for practial things like lowering the windows - but it's interesting to me that the way Ford went with their performance cars is closer to the Cougar-S. Just look at the lines of a modern Mustang... And then look at a Camaro, which is a GM product.
The MC2 looks more like a completely inappropriate Cadillac. Also GM.
If i'm not mistaken, Renault lifted some of the design characteristics from the front end, even the panoramic roof is now in full production by another French manufacturer? and the "look" has also been artificially re-created with the aid of some Gloss black paint :beer:
Oh my. I see now what you're going for and I think it'd be amazing. Unfortunately, I believe that it was a shell without an engine and its windows wouldn't have worked. That's not a car you could buy unless Ford would sell you a model.
