My tray of Halfords Advanced ratchet spanners is missing. I noticed this before working on Dan's car, so they went adrift before then.

Last time I saw them was at Al's, but that doesn't necessarily mean that's where they were lost and I don't imagine anyone would steal them.

If you know where they are - if you have unexplained tools - I'd really appreciate getting them back. T bought them for me as a birthday present and I'm properly upset at the idea of having to tell her that they're gone.

Hope you find them Chris. As you are aware i've been very busy in the cave recently but i havn't noticed anything out of place. I will have a double check round tomorrow though mate.

Much appreciated, Al.

The last time I used them in anger was to do your (amazingly awkward) front ARB bushes which is why I name-checked you, (or rather, your location). I don't think they've been thieved, but I keep track of my tools so losing them is kind of odd.

At my age Im forever loosing tools that usually re appear in the darkest depths of my garage often after I have bought new ones ! :cautious:

No, and I've torn the garage apart.

I'm properly vexed because I'm an absolute tool Nazi - I always make sure that everyone leaves with what they came with, or have what they had when I arrived (as Tony will tell you). I even tidy up as we go so that nobody gets the wrong ratchet back in their kit. And Tracey bought these for me as a birthday present.

I can't imagine I left them behind somewhere, but the implication of that is not something I'm comfortable with.

Oh well.

:(

I had to buy a replacement 3/8 drive 10mm today as I've lost the one from my set somewhere in the Saabs engine bay. Maybe Tiger ate them?

Ah. Well, losing your 3/8" 10mm is basicaly a meme at this point. Any US mechanic will tell you that. But look on the bright side - that means you're a proper wrencher!

Anyway, 10mm sockets will be the tool that you buy the most for the rest of your life.

Had a proper clear up here a little while ago, and never came across any new additions, tho keeping up with my two kits is proving to be challenging at the mo lol due to Kate, my little project requiring so much attention lol bloody women hahahaha

Thanks for checking in, Tony. I kind of expected that if I left tools there you'd be the first to shout, "Oi! Which one of you idiots left your spanners here?!"

I've obviously done something stupid - Hurr-durr quelle suprise - but I guess that's better than someone walking away with them. I'm just upset that I'll have to tell T. Or maybe buy a new set so that she doesn't have to know.
