Mk2 v6 rear suspension help

Yeah should have been simple job an hour per side if I had parts, new headache is brake flexis at rear, had two different sets sent and both wrong keep sending me ones with male fittings each end, I need male end at caliper and female at metal brake pipe,
Might need to visit Ford tomorrow

Ah yes, the old male fittings trick pmsfl, dont think ford recognise that they're different either lol DYG managed to get a set of braided lines made up by someone (may have been Goodridge) but took him 3 goes lol Ford in their usual infinite wisdom of the parts bins decided to change them sometime in 2000 along with a load of other stuff at various times that year lol
 
Yeah no idea why they changed brake flexis or strut mounts, wonder what other headaches ahead!

Where did you get adaptors mate? And what size if you know

Ford seemed to have altered quite a few things on the c2, there is a list of differences on one of the threads if I remember right, sure someone will post a link.
 
Think mine is becoming a c1 and 1/2 lol well if I can't find parts anyway

Hi thanks quicksilver got finis number today from Ford, no longer av tho, but put finis number on eBay and found two in Germany €24 for pair delivered to my home, so one more prob out the way handy to know tho if you have a part number and pop it on eBay you might just get lucky! Easier than putting in description and ending up with wrong stuff, anybody know who guy in Stirling is with cougar? Ford dealer says this old guy has been buying up shitload of spares for years they reckon he has spent well over 10k on stuff so far
