MOT Fail

I expect then, your separate headrest seats changed from round to rextangular when ours did, but the combined seatback/headrest you show in image 2, was common to budget variants (15" steel wheel models) that Europe didn't get.

The 35th Anniversary Edition had the equivalent of our C2 seats complete with rectangular headrests.

The headrests aren't interchangeable due to the shape at the top of the seat back.

Now that arm rest I do like in the centre console, never noticed that before. Is that C2 or some option. My C1 armrest is lower. And my apologies if I've hijacked the thread again !

there were actually 2 different ones for the C2. one with that cool armrest. (I absolutely am in love with MINE I have to add) and then there was 1 that didn't have the armrest. it just had the hole for storage and a cupholder in it. very uncomfortable to have as it cuts into your forearm as you drive. The V6 C2 I pulled parts from had the armrest which is also the one I just installed on my car thread. the C2 Zetec they had there had the big hole. However, when I get a chance I'll look at the ones I have out in the shed. I have a busted up C2 with that arm rest and a C1 with the armrest pad thing on it. it may be possible to swap the armrest itself over but I'm not 100 percent sure it would work from LHD to RHD.

Just checked with the options in the US brochure here, and can correct my post thus:

There is reference to "Premium cloth-covered bucket seats with manual lumbar support" which I expect are the ones always pictured, and the standard seats (never pictured) are what Dan has;-

Good to meet up with you yesterday Mike. I hope you are able to find a good home for her, if only I had the space !

Good luck - Noel
