So far i have a huge list of fault codes to work through and hopefully i can get to the bottom of them :)

Is that V6 NOS (as was)? ie, the car that Lewy sold to Scunny, who then sold it to Gav, who then paid a vast amount of money to a dodgy garage to do a dodgy ST220 transplant on?

Good luck to you Sir! I'm sure it'll be sorted before long with you twirling the spanners, have you bought it are or are you just the custodian?

breath life back into her dude. it will be good to have another rare st220 prowling around like it should have been before its demise.

I have spoken to gav recently so I did know this was in the pipeline.

Personal circumstances at the time forced me to sell and I was gutted when it all went wrong.

I am chuffed the turnaround has begun.

Good luck Ian, lets hope youcan get her back to her brilliant best and lets see the old V6 NOS on the road once again.

I think quite a large part of the problem is the fact the car is running the standard 2.5 ecu and not the 3ltr one and the bodged wiring throughout the engine bay
Plus the fact injector 1 is doing nothing and injector 2 is breaking down under load.... So next port of call is inlet manifold off and go through the wiring and injector tests....

When I get it running on all 6 I will run a couple of maps on to the ecu, just play with it and see if I can get it running slightly better than a standard map... but to be honest I have so many codes lol just start working through them and spend some time with the wiring diagrams and my laptop and solus and see what I can do.

Such a beautiful example of a Cougar, it's in very hands with Ian working on it. Hope she is back and running properly again soon.

Good luck with it Ian. This car deserves to be revived.
Glad Gav hasn't given up on it and hope any differences with other club members can be resolved amicably so we can all participate at club events and activities.

Firmly seconded.

I obviously have a bit of a vested interest here and would love to see the old girl back on the road......and of course the car
