had to get to haverhill on sat and was really upset at having to take my car through some severe flash floods.

i encountered 6 floods on my way and the car wasnt at all fussed about goin through them(slowly of course)
but what really made me laugh was the poor s*ds in the bmw and audi's i saw with their hazards on parked up after the floods..
they looked really pi**ed that i could get through them in an old car.

Sadly it's true, if not worse - bought up there and escaped when I was about 22-23.

I grew up in Saffron Walden but I'm now near Duxford. My dad had business in Haverhill so visited often when I was young.
