My dabble in hydro-dipping

uploadfromtaptalk1377637093323.jpgTried my headlight switch sourround tonight and turned out quite tatty, loads of tiny air bubbles between the film and the part and a few creases, I think the water was a little too warm and I either didnt put enough activator on or I was too quick to dip!..... live and learn :) uploadfromtaptalk1377636965810.jpguploadfromtaptalk1377636990110.jpg

Even that looks passable though Dave, and the creases are underneath and out of sight. (y)

Nah......if you look closer on the 2nd pic you can see all the tiny bubbles......it will be flatted and done again until im happy with it

Will do matey - just need a plan of what I want to do first. It'll come down to whether I go for carbon on Tiger's roof next month...

Heres some ht lead cover corner thingys I did for mako in gold carbon effect with a black base, they turned out pretty authentic looking imho

Hmmmm....this looks fun, suppose you can use whatever print you care to use? Or is there a limited amount of graphics available?

I believe that the patterns are limited only to what the printers are willing to produce, (which is probably limited by what they can sell in reasonable quantity). Here's one supplier:

I've not bought anything from them so this is not a recommendation, just an example.

I am using their activator spray which works as it should! Theres many suppliers out there though :)
