My ideal spec and colour

Good luck with the auction.
That would be a lovely match for your wooden interior ;)

Good luck, got an auto myself first cougar with one all my others were manuals, not as quick and chew the juice but nice and smooth.

He must have a reserve on that of at least £350, right? I mean there's no way he's letting it go for that amount, surely.

Last history on it but must been mot since.

There's literally nothing there that couldn't be fixed in an afternoon, so either this car is cherry or he has a very sympathetic tester, (he does mention that he works in the car industry, so...)

The only flag for me is the "floor" corrosion. Tiger had that before I owned her, and it turned out that it actually referred to the sills, which were held together by paint. But knowing Matt's history, that'll be the first thing he checks if he wins it!

I guess it can't be much worse than mine was before. I'll be waiting until the last minute to have a bid as I can't afford to go too high - I've just paid my heating oil bill which had to come first :)

I was there. Nothing could ever be worse than that. You went through some pain that her new owner won't have to. Jesus.

Nor should you. This looks like a bargain, and I hope you get what you want. Of course I will be there.

My friend in Geneva does this. You buy oil in enormous quantities, but you only do it once a year. If you don't plan for it, you're gonna be living on beans-on-toast for a while.

Matt, the best advice I can give you is to get in contact with the seller and make arrangements to view before you bid, you know what your looking for, there are plenty of solid bodies out there to chose from but all are going to start needing rust repair like Goblin if they are to last another 16 years

No point rushing if you don't need, I'm going to start looking myself as I want to back to a manual Cougar and am getting a pension through in Jan with a reasonable lump sum so hopefully pick up a nice example.
