my new ice install

I wouldn't use round ports or particularly follow the recc of JL sometimes they offer a smaller than perfect size to make it look more usable, don't get me wrong it would boom hard in a ported 2.5cuft for example but it may not be the PERFECT box for it in the same way my last box ~(with the subs in the seat) was built to Powerbass specs for a small ported enclosure but it can work in anything from 2cuft ported to 4cuft ported so a huge range of box size to be used.

Sorry Darren taken the thread over a bit I'll shout at myself lol.

I was a bit unsure about having 2 10" subs rather than 2 12"s but believe me with the proper calculations and set up it really really does kick harder than you would believe yet still sounds very musical. The benefit of the 10"s is that although they may not go quite as low, they are very very punchy so have plenty of musical ability
