My new knob..............

Looking good Peter especially as you have the matching lighter plug.

I was in contact with someone in the States about a year ago with regard to producing something similar but they just stopped replying to my emails :(.

Yeah I have had the lighter plug for a while now. Shame your contact fell through, but how hard can these be to produce, there must me someone who can knock these up as it is only a lump of metal after all.

The bloke in the US engraved Cougar Heads into the flat metal knobs used to fasten the tops of old style metal air filter pans.
My thought was to get him to skim the markings off and then to engrave the Cougar Head into something like this:

That would work very easy and I am sure you could get someone in the UK to do this. That is a very good idea if you can find someone to do the engraving part.

Shouldn't this be in the over 18's section with Peter showing pictures of his knob?!! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well............. it is shiny after all, we all like shiny.

I have also got a little mod planned for the rear of my car as well. I have got the part to do it, just got to find the time to fit it to the car. Been wanting to do this one for a long time and my mate just happened to have the bit I was after in the corner of his garage collecting dust.

I cheated Alan did mine and bogey is a ugly which has a different housing to the C1 but after Alan explaining it as I watched it is pretty easy and I would attempt one now, main thing is don't lose any clips and it can be a bit messy with the grease. Once you start to disassemble it its fairly self explanatory.
