got these 17's for a bargain price today, the guy even thrown in a brand new set of wheel nuts, there in pretty good nic appart from kerbing to half of a wheel (which i did about an hour ago outside the take away!!!) OOPS!!! :(
now my graphics blend in nicely i think, just needs to be dropped a tad now and change the tyres to either 45's or 50's when the 40's wear out
my OEM wheels will be up for grabs once ive cleaned them up so will be posted in the for sale section in a few weeks
 
Looking pretty good there matey not always sure of dark alloys on silver but as you they accentuate the graffix.
 
i know but always fancied that colour rather than "going with the majority" and having silver, if im ever spotted im sure people will know its me :) especially with the scooby spoiler lol
 
Looking good Dave, could definitely do with 45 profile tyres though. The 40 profiles will help your acceleration though.;)
 
tbh im thinking of maybe 50's but undecided yet and i cant warrant replacing the 40's just yet as they have a few miles left on them.....or i could save the 40's for ford fair 2012 hehehehe (y)
 
Car is looking good. The wheels really do blend the graphics in well.

How much of a bargain were they? I had 215/40's on my 17's when I first got them. Have now got 225/45's on and the difference between them is unbelievable. Certainly wouldn't put 40's on again.
 
ive got to ask though steve, does bypassing the secondaries make much improvement? as mine has started playing up?????
 
I find I get better throttle response than Rachel's (which still has IMRC) apparently it's quite a popular mod with V6 Mondeo owners.

just short of a ton pal, which in my opinion is cracking! (especially with a BRAND NEW set of wheel nuts and 4/5mm tyres) they have 205/40's so when required they will go bigger and wider!

i may have to do it as its failed twice in the last week! i take it you just unplug and clamp them fully open?

Yeah, that was a cracking deal especially with decent rubber on them and new wheel nuts aswell. I paid a ton for mine and tbh the tyres were knackered. Those that were at Harewood will no doubt agree with that statement.
