my new rims from fleabay

fact...muscle weighs more than fat, so i can make my car faster by eating kebabs rather than going to the gym hehe

i may have to do it as its failed twice in the last week! i take it you just unplug and clamp them fully open?

Yeah, you need to take the UIM off so you can get to the spring that holds them shut, and unclip it, just to take some tension out of it, I then cable tied the control arm for the front bank to the fuel pipe that runs below it, and job done.

Steve. whats your fuel economy like though with them open all of the time? Doesn't it over-fuel??

Meant to also say - those new rims look great on your Frosty and as others have said, blend in well with your new graphics - nice one bud.

tbh im thinking of maybe 50's but undecided yet and i cant warrant replacing the 40's just yet as they have a few miles left on them.....or i could save the 40's for ford fair 2012 hehehehe (y)

You don't want 50series tyres mate they will be too big. Nothing wrong with dark alloys on a frosty....not that i'm biased like ;)

Why would it overfuel if extra air was allowed into the chamber? Surely if anything it would run lean? Even then the knock sensor would adjust the mix to try to maintain the 14:1?

Doh! me stupid! and not mechanically minded. For some reason thought that it would use more fuel like it's on choke all the time?? Obviously I haven't got a clue! lol

Nice rims, I managed to get a good set off ebay not so long since, I had watched several sets go for a fortune first, though!
