My trip to the Isle of Skye

Last week we went away for a week to the Isle of Skye. We live in York so it is over 400 miles each way and we did over 1700 miles in total!

The roads were great, really good fun and the cougar was great the whole time never giving us any problems.

I thought I would add a few pictures of the Cougar whilst we were up there. The first is in Bamburgh where we stopped for 10 minutes en route!

Been there a couple of times Dan, great roads for giving it the beans, used the ferry first time, as the bridge hadn't been built. Some great shots there.

You really should, it's the best fun I've had in ages. The weather was interesting but it was so windy that when it stopped raining it dried up really quick!

Nice pics Dan - great hobby, driving to faraway places and taking photo's of your car there!
I'm really jealous, got my blurple 2.5 in November and haven't had chance to venture out of Yorkshire yet.
Won't be long now though. Where to? South West I think - sea's bluer!

Great pictures there Dan - and the Cat looks remarkably clean and tidy considering you were in the middle of a 1700 mile round trip - have the Polish set up a spit and polish up there already ??

Stunning pics mate = nothing better than a pic showing a Cougar in a wild place !

I love Scotland ( lived up there for 10 years in Edinburgh, Dundee and Bo'ness ) and I use to drive every other weekend up to Glencoe and take pics of my car in amongst the mountains - loved it despite not owning a nice car at the time ( just a silly old FSO Polenez !!! )
