I just bought a Ford Cougar 2.0, absolutely delighted with it, only problem is that the previous owner was a young boy racer who decided to take out the original door speakers and instead installed 2 horrifically ugly ones. Any advice on place to go to get a set of original speakers

Hi amd Welcome first, Re- the speakers, take a look on eBay for 7x5 speakers as that is the standard ford fit for them, I have some Alpine in mine i think from memory i paid around £30 for them..

I just picked up a pair of Alpines from Halfords for £20 needed an adaptor from ebay for £2.99 as they are 5.25 dia not 7X5 but the sound difference is incredible
