Hello and welcome aboard Tiff. Hope you manage to find the right Coug for you. I bought mine over 18 months ago with 50k miles and FSH (totally standard) and only paid £1600, so you can pick up some really nice ones. My advice would be to take your time and check out a few. Like Phil said, I'd stay away from sunroof's as they can and will cost you alot of money if it goes wrong (which many of them do). Personally I don't like the C2 as much as the C1, but it's all down to individual taste. Anyway, best of luck. Tim.
 
Hello! There are definitely cars out there with similar spec to what you're looking at. I bought a C1 Cougar with X pack and heated screen in Melina Blue at the end of June, so hold out for what you want, it will turn up with patience!!

It will certainly be worth the wait..!
 
hi tiff welcome to the forum, for that budget as said you shouldnt have a problem finding a nice motor, as for the sunroof, mine has been fine and use it every opportunity i get, was even part of the reason i bought my wrote off car back , as long as you check it thoroughly and are aware of the possible risk of it going,(check the runners to see if they are metal) (y)
 
The Amazon Green C2 bloke has got back to me saying he'll drop to £1750....but it's the other end of the country so I have my costs of flying up there and driving back to consider......
A Medium Melina Blue has appeared for sale near my friends a bit more local....99k, FSH, X Pack.....£1450

well, I put a deposit down on the blue one.......collect Monday!
has the lot; X Pack, heated screen, sunroof etc
full history, 97k, loads of history, few marks on back bumper but all works fine.
Glasgow one just too far..
