after years of sensible estates and boring family cars I done got me something different and fun to drive. A nice frosty v6 xpack, 62K .I like to tinker and tweak, and have only paid a garage once to do work in 25 years ( wife put diesel in and didn't tell me!!). Got lots of questions but thought it best to say hello first.

There is no workshop manual for the big cat - but everything you could ever want to know to help you to continue to avoid mechanic's expenses can fortunately be found on here :)

You will also be able to find all the fixes you need in our subscriber sections. Have a browse around the open forums and get a feel for the place. Remember! ukcougar.com is the only workshop manual for the big cat.
 
hiya mate, these lads are a mine of information, without there help via the forum, my cat wouldn't be on the road, it was like taking on the Millenium Falcon when i bought it, i'm a Capri man you see and i scare easily when i look under the bonnet of a Cougar :LOL::LOL::LOL:
 
thanks for the welcome. Been poking round the site to see whats what, i see there's another member in my town which always helps. Been poking round the car aswell. Found a 2 pin black connector with black wires under the passenger seat, 12v when heating button is pressed. cannot for the life of me see where it should go but might explain where the seats dont get warm! any quick ideas while the suns out?
 
Should be a plug on the seat it goes in to. Welcome btw :)

I've just subscribed for full access and got it within 5 mins. wasn't expecting such efficiency!. Just got to find the right sections for the questions now.
