New owner - what have I got myself into....

I used LiquidLeather on my BMW seats, It's fantastic stuff, a couple of coats using some make-up sponges and it looked like new and lasted no problems...

Make-up sponges......'spose you just had em lying around eh ;)

cheers for the recommendation - guess I'd better get an order in!

ehum,,, not really mine, i nicked a few of my wife's... shhhhhh don't tell her as she was looking for them for ages...
I found them to be best as they are really soft and not a rough as a normal sponge, they don't leave drag marks in the stuff when you apply it.. :)

Dont look bad chap, soft nail brush with hot soapy water will shift most of it, then give it a going over with G3 and a mop, a damned good waxing and it'll look good as new ;-) welcome to the loony bin btw lol

The nail brush was reference to the liquid leather Tony... :) but yes your right you could use one on the areas that needed it on the bodywork.. (y)

Thanks!
the grime will come off no doubt about that - it's all the little things that will take time, fr'instance just noticed that the height adjuster for the seat belt is kaput.
will start the deep clean in earnest this weekend, then the attention needs to turn to fixing all the broken bits - she'll turn heads again one day!
All in all loving the car, will love it even more when it hit's the tarmac!

yup been there on both counts and awaiting replies - oh the bank's gonna love me..........not so much the wife though...

Hello and welcome aboard. I'm sure that with the TLC that you will give her she'll be back to her former glory. Hope to see you at some of this years meets.
