Hi Folks,

Just got myself a Cougar 2 - 2 litre. It's a kind of red/orange colour, log book describes it as red.
I'm on nightshifts at the moment but will get some photo's up next week hopefully.
I've never really had a car in my 28 years of driving, that I've taken an interest in enough to want to search for an owners club.

No not MI6, it's just we all saw the car advertised and i went looking for it for ages, the seller never replied to us and we wondered where the car went..? Don't worry, nothing to worry about, at least we know where it went... :)
Welcome to the club anyway, from the pic's on the advert it appears you got a nice car for the money.. :)
 
I've had it in a local garage for a few bits that badly needed doing for roadworthyness, but it is a nice clean example that I intend to give some TLC over the months as and when money becomes available.:)
 
Well you have come to the right place, The club is full of friendly if not slightly mad knowledgeable people.. If you take a look around everything you need to know about the Cougar is here, and it's the only workshop manual too.
The subs for the club are a measly £18 which is the best £18 i have ever spent, so if you get signed up there is a world of information in the subscribers sections...plenty of meets and get together's happen all year round.. ;)

No worries your welcome, Would be good to see your car in the flesh one day, may be could organise a small meet with the Devon lot one weekend in the summer...? :)
 
Hi and welcome. Take care of that car, it's a rare catch. Laser Red wasn't a UK colour but a few slipped the net. It's by far the most complimentary to a Cougar IMO. Do you wanna swap it for a v6?
