Well...
I bought a Cougar just over 10 years ago, and I had many a happy drive in it for a number of years, however about 5 years ago I had a bit of a change of life, I breifly bought a Mercedes SLK, and then I left the country to work in the US. Becasue I was totaly disorginized and in a rush I just left my Cougar with my parents who made some talk about selling it, but in the end they never did, it's been sitting out in the elements on a drive all that time.
So I'm back in the UK now and I've re-inherit my Cougar!
So you can imagine how surprised I was when (after a new Battery) it started first time...
Maybe you can imagine how even more surprised I was when I took it to get MOT'd and it passed with only a few advisorys (Link ball joint covers and anti-lock breaking CV Ring are 'damaged' and the rear handbrake had 'low effect').
I guess they dont make them like they used to!
Im now waiting for October to get it taxed and see if I can rember how to drive stick shift
