Newbie - MOT'd and on the road

:)Hi, just to let everyone know that the Cougar is through the MOT and I am enjoying driving around. It seems to go well so will keep everyone informed of progress. Just tidying up some badly repaired dents on the doors so hopefully when it looks a bit tidier I will post some pics
 
That's great news Rick, good to hear matey. Smiles per mile :) Have you got the V6 or Zetec ?? Welcome aboard by the way.
 
thanks to you all it is a T reg V6 in ebony, I had an MX5 but was struggling with space so needed something bigger, never considered a Cougar until I saw this one round the corner and seemed like alot of car for the money. I can do all my own repairs so just had a gut feeling that this wouldn't need much for the MOT . plus it had tax until Dec. I find the car nice to drive, big change from the 5 and a bit different from the wifes fiesta!! So far very pleased - bodywork a bit rough in places but that is mostly due to some very amateur repairs! I like the noise of the v6 I sort of feel it could do with a better exhaust - has anyone tried upgrading to a s/s wider bore pipe?
I will take some pics tomorrow and get them on the site

Re: Stainless steel wide bore pipes - a lot of us have after market exhaust systems. Personally, I have a MIJ Sports cat back with quad pipes. Check the following links:
