Is it a break or is it just the part that you remove to gain access to the towing eye. The drivers side of the front bumper has a 6 inch removable section that just clicks in.

Hi Andy, yes your FIL did sell his Divvy to my lad lol we went and picked it up in my cat ;-) He's just sold it on as it goes, done him a very good turn that bike, just bought himself a tricked up GSXR750 too, welcome to the loony bin btw ;-)
Ah that's good to know, John was very fond of that bike and looked after it well. he's now got a SV650. I had a blast out on that Divvy and it pulled well for an old air-cooled commuter!
