I'm guessing a few members have got OBDII Software on their laptops etc. Just wondered what software people had found to be good.

Most of the laptop software I've tried looks a little unfinished!

I've used Torque on my Android which is great but seems to fail to report the fault codes.

I've used EasyOBDII which seems OK but crashes every so often

I've used ScanTool which was a bit crap

Just wondered if there was a better one?

Perfect - I'll give ScanXL a try, looks good from the website.

I take it the Autoenginuity one needs a different device rather than the elm327?

Great - from a quick look over it the ScanXL software looks like it will do the job perfectly - even better with the Ford Enhanced Module.

Thank you - was well worth asking!
