Good and bad news at the same time for Alan.

Bhp still not where he would like it....but at least now he knows why.....and the relatively simple fix should take his four pot over 150bhp.

Significantly under fueling.

To put it into context, it should be 5 parts fuel to air ratio. Alans was just 1. In comparison mo fo's was 13.

So it could just be a fuel filter

Absolutely. A really enjoyable day.

Joking apart it was really nice to see everyone, but particularly mark and iain.

Met one or two new faces and for once my car was not being ripped apart.....that happened at Alan's house lol.

Although I was a mere spectator...a big thanks to shaun and mart for organising the day.

Must have been one of the best turn outs for a show this year  good to see everyone's still got the club spirit. Went for a meal afterwards with Steve Rachel and Free2men and his mate, well stuffed now

its been a great day and thanks to all that attended and organised it!

my backyard UIM really did perform well and i was really supprised with the level of interest it attracted, and thankyou to all for your positive comments! along with a couple of other mods my cat is now running at 206bhp........and around 220 ftlb's of torqe :) :) :) which im more than happy with! and to top it off the dyno guy mentioned that my standard TB was now very restrictive and i could see gains of around 10% if i changed it to an st220 one (a mod that i was planning anyway)
on the way down there this morning i averaged 30mpg and on the way home even with a little 'spirited' driving it managed 36mpg so not only is it significantly up on power its better on fuel too!!! not bad for a 13 year old motor!

it was realy nice to meet a few more members today and really looking forwards to more futureIMAG0501.jpg meets, thanks again for a great day guys

That UIM even if it lost power and I had a V6 I'd have one as it looks cool!. Really glad I managed to pop over for a couple of hours and see you guys was really good to see you all, loving Iain's new wheels that he is stuck with till feb time hope it all heals well dude also really good to see Mark looking happy and healthy another show of how good the spirit in this club is getting them both down.

Rob Coug looks awesome mate in person well worth the struggles you've been through with it. Steve Datsun was looking nice mate. Sorry to anyone I never had chance to say more than a brief Hi too I was tight on time with princess in tow wanting to see her aunts.
