paint colour

hi I have a Black cougar which has paint bubbling around rear wheel arch . I need to know what colour is the black for cougar . Went to Halfords but lots of difference blacks can anyone help . Thank you

It's Ebony Black.
The paint code is in the 6th box down on the left-hand side of your VIN plate on the front slam panel.

Thank you never tried respray area before any help would be great only looks like surface rust no holes and best way to match in area.

I agree with almost 100% of that advice, except for one thing:

6. using a hairdryer or heat gun gently warm up the can of colour whilst shaking it, keep the can warm as this helps it out of the can without dropping large droplets everywhere.

He's absolutely correct in terms of the reason, but you're much better off warming the can under a hot tap or in a bowl of warm water. You can control the temperature properly, and the heating is more uniform and less likely to cause hot-spots.
