Petrol Tank

Hi Guys, Has any one had to replace the petrol pump on the 2.5 C2.? or can offer any advice on how to remove the plastic clip (white clip) that holds the petrol filler pipe in place inside the tank. I have emptied and lowered the petrol tank as far as it will allow but cant remove the clip.

I need to replace the petrol pump and I would like to remove the pipe without cutting back the floor.

There's a couple clips around it if you look in the slots where the tube goes in you can see little white nubs. I used either a big screwdriver or smaller pry bar to push those in and pried up on the white ring at the same time. Takes a bit but it gives eventually.

If you end up cutting the floor you can make a plate to cover the hole from a scrap cougar then everything hooks back down right
