pics of rear lights

I hate to say this (and look like I'm shooting you down) but with the postage that's what new ones cost at my local rip-off motor factors...

.....but your local rip-off motor factors is quite a stretch from where the OP lives in Notts, Chris and if that is what he is looking for I think I've got a pair in the shed he can have for the postage. :)

I'll let you know how I get on, but thanks for the offer too.
This is one of nicestforums I have been on since my days on the mg rover.org where I still show me face :)
Plus the car got lots of complimemts from work today, people couldnt believe its a v-reg as its super clean

Ah, I meant that if that's what they cost here in rip-off land... But your idea is better. :)

You'll be extraordinarily lucky to happen across a set on eBay.

Mine were imported in exchange for a UK set, not cheap at all as postage to the US is pretty expensive.
Best route is to find someone on NECO who will do a swap with you.

Ebay.com (US site) is probably your best bet but be prepared for high shipping costs and import duty or find a friend on Neco who might be willing to do a swap.

Snap :)

After having my eye on this thread , think I'm going to tint my rear light plastics, leaving the side repeaters clear though, and the headlight plastics seem dark enough and don't want to chance lowering the ambience of the light output from standard bulbs any lower for they are shady enough(which I like)
Will post pics next week when I get round to doing it after I fitted rear drop links.

Sounds good. I wouldnt touch the front ones either. Bought a vectra with tinted fron lights and at night the visibility was awful

I bought mine from US eBay, being lucky enough to drop across a pair of new-old stock. If I recall correctly, the lights themselves, shipping and import tax cost me around £120.

My only experience of getting something shipped from the states was my Cougar head grille and that turned out alright. Maybe just lucky.

I'll probably give those American clusters a miss then!
