Post a pic of your cat here

Sorry mate, you said 'car', but I don't see one in the pic. I'm confused.

He meant "open-toed shoe."

Tried to steer her towards a very low mileage Puma but she was having none of it.

Well, I'm sure you would rather that she drove something she enjoys, no matter what other people (including us) think. After all, there's actually people out there who - I kid you not - don't like the Cougar. Some of them even join Cougar clubs to say so.

Shocking, I know.

Anyway, no harm, no foul. Happy trails to her!

:D

I'm sure funwoody knows it's only a bit of friendly ribbing. After all, I can't talk, my other car is a hairdresser-mobile with no indicators!

I started mellowing on the subject once we got the Astra Cabrio. Gave in totally when the MX-5 NB arrived.

But we're way off topic and I don't have any fresh Cougar pics to share so I'm going to shut up now.

:EDIT: Here - I don't think that either of these have been posted here before, just Facebook...

I hope that makes up for the derailment!

Had mine a year now, thought I'd treat it to a wash and get some pics:

Love that shine:

Niiice, Mart.

What are you using as a wax on that?

No wax, just Demon Shine (which my Dad got free with a magazine subscription!). After washing, spray it on & buff it off, takes about 15-20 minutes to do the whole car. It's a quick cheat really, the shine doesn't last anywhere near as long as it would with a proper wax job. Does make it look good in photos though :)

Agreed - she does look beautiful. Go and buy a bottle of Poorboy's Black hole and a pot of Dodo Juice Purple Haze hard wax though.

If you want a 16-year-old Ebony to look beautiful without a respray? That's what you want. Just ask Shirtyzeus how his Melina looks.

That is gorgeous, simply stunning. The colour, the ride height, the size and design of the wheels, it all just looks so.... right. That's a beautiful car you have there mate, you should feel very proud of it.
