Ditto what John said except for me, it's the most stunning car in the club by a country mile! Always has been as always will be my favourite car and I'm honoured to have been trusted with her and for being given the privilege of driving her and being driven in her all the way oop Norf! Viva La Cagna ;)

I used to think that all the time when I had my black one before her demise. With the noise of the exhausts and the front stance of the car with headlight covers on it looked decidedly evil!! La Cagna has that same effect with the stance so people in other cars, especially piddly little cars such as Spaxo's etc must poo themselves.

Thanks everybody, it was quite a decision to have the wheels changed, because i have been a member for so long and get so many kind comments regarding the car, I was ultra conscious of spoiling the look. I came across a stand at the modified nationals where there was a demo wheel in the colour that I now have, I have always loved the Kawasaki green colour from being a kid and when I saw the demo wheel, I loved it but wasn't sure about going ahead with the work, initially I was quoted £75.00 per wheel but the total came out in excess of £500.00. I have to thank Kully and JJ for encouraging me to go through with it because I love the wheels. I feel more like the guardian of a museum piece, (it's been around for a while now) so it's important to get it right.
I don't believe that I have the best car in the club and I am always humbled when people say this, when you look at the cars out there, there are a lot of top notch ones, I believe that mine is nice, it's my taste, but there are many more out there that are on a par or better.
Cougarfest 2012 was a showcase weekend for some beautiful cars, let's hope that Cougarfest 2013 shows us some more.

Thank you all for your kind comments, it does mean a lot to me, if you don't like the changes, then I am not offended, it's down to personal taste.

Looks in good nick mate, it's a credit to you, and there aren't many standard ones left now because some of us can't stop changing them.:cool::cool:

Cheers, yeah she aint in bad nick at all really for its age.

Not gonna do much more than mask the rear clusters, fit a spoiler [when i can find an OEM one], tidy up the alloys etc.(y)

Looking very good, loving the addition of the colour. It breaks the car up a bit now and Green on Black will always work well. Do you have anything else planned for it in the future ?

Thanks peter,I have a couple more exterior bits to do but will post up pics when it is done, I want to tie the spoiler in with the wheels, calipers and rear quarter graphics by colour coding the insert and when Kully gets to his old car next, he's sending me some mirror shells which will be painted in the same colour. I think it'll tie the harmonise the top of the car with the wheels.

I have other ideas in the pipeline for the interior, I don't want to overdo it though otherwise the effect is lost.

Looking forward to seeing these other minor mods. I am sure it will all look great when done.

Guys, both your cougs are looking sweet. Lennonfan - your Melina looks super polished, that really has brought the colour out superbly - liking it. Rich - mate, your car always has had the looks of a super-model lol. Liking the green with the black - works well and reminds me of the "Monster" drinks:

9k=
isthat where you got the idea from??? LOL!!!

I have always loved lime green from being a kid Tim, have often considered adding it to the car but sometimes you need a kick up the r's to make things happen, I have to credit Kully and JJ for donning the boot and executing the kick, they have both been real mates and are the epitomy of what makes this club great, Al has helped too, again, a top bloke, I misjudged him after he was made a super moderator and gave him a hard time, but he is a super moderator, and a super mate.
I had to laugh on sunday at fest, when the impromptu line up 'occurred' at fest, I commented that I need a 10-24mm wide angle lense for the D90 but laughed because I'd spent the money that I'd saved for it on my wheels!!!!:):):)
