Mikey, that is looking sweet mate. Lovin' it, very nice indeed. Which kit is that you have on her?

Now sporting carbon wrapped mirror covers care of Steve Morris.

Looking great Andy. Same as what is on mine :)

Hey everyone, as an extension of my introductory post, here are some images of my new Cougar.

I plan to black fly-eye wrap the rear lights, just to see how it looks. Something about the bright red doesn't quite sit right with me. Since the perforated vinyl is high standard and free, I figure I may as well try it. I have meths and white spirit to take it off if it doesn't work. Out of curiosity, has anyone else used perforated vinyl on the lights?

Here's a couple more of mine. Nothing too interesting yet. Still looks pretty much as stock, but with any luck I'll be able to make her more my own in the future.

IIRC someone tried to do their C1 headlamps but didn't have great success because of the 'boobs' and I've been toying with the idea of doing my C2 headlamps but haven't got around to it yet. Most people go down the tinting route for the rears but I would be interested to see the results of using the vinyl.

Jason did do the fly eye tint on his C2 fronts on BOGIE. I've had a roll of the stuff for months, just don't seem to get the time to do it. :)
Thats right he did, its very easy to do on a flat surface but an absolute nightmare on uneven lights

I see, I need to find somewhere dry and warm first, and have a stab at it with a heatgun. I've working with vinyl quite a bit, but I think I'll need to get a thinner material for the lights.

I'm coming around to the idea of making the area around the boobs silver - as per the bodywork - but I'm not sure if I want to wrap or respray the vehicle somewhere down the line.

Perhaps I could fly eye the area around the boobs. I'm looking at the back of my car from the office window and Im trying to work out how that'd look. Perhaps not such a great idea o_O

had a back box put on recently , due to the rest of the exhaust being standard ,there isn't much sound difference but looks great IMO , cougar <3 merry christmas ppl!
