potential new owner question

hi guys, im looking to get a cougar at the moment, probably going for a 2.0 16v (so i can later turbo possibly)

are there any big things to look out for? or anything to avoid??

comprehensive service history, date of last cam belt change (unless you go V6 which is chain driven) Wishbones usually need replacing around the 80,000 mile mark so check milage and that they have been done if needed. Just remember there are a lot out there so dont rush in

Hi Jamie do the usual visual checks

Check out the cills underneath give them a tap with your fingers & check out the rear subframe

I checked out a car that had 8 months mot & both of these were rotten
