I'm not sure where to post this, but hope it may be of interest!

I've just started work on 'Damian's old Cougar' after it failed it's MOT.

First it has gone to my mates garage to have the brakes/suspension etc stripped down to assess what needs doing.

For those of you who known this car it is an amazing beast and it had a fortune spent on it.
Lots of parts were imported from USA, I will have to decide on how to replace/renew the existing brakes etc.
I may well need some advice!

I would like to get it back on the road this Summer, depends on budget and time!

Hi,
Hole in exhaust, brake discs (pads) , leaking caliper, and it will need four new tyres.

Normally not too bad, but it has 6 pot Wilwood calipers and big discs etc so to replace like for like will be expensive!

Also the suspension needs complete overhaul, Koni adjustable,(didn't fail on this but really should be done at same time).

Basically the car is in good nick (less than 70k from new), and the engine is awesome, so I want to keep this bit of Cougar legacy on the road, and enjoy it!

Yes, I'm looking at that option, could be the way to go,
got to get the brakes right to stop the beast!
