Guys on neco seem to want between 50 and 100 usd for them, not sure what postage would be Si might have an idea I believe he's sent some the other way.
Edit, where for that price Si? Would snap them up for that price , also why not legal?

postage is ridiculous due to the size.
any parcel over 60cm in length (or width or height) is expensive.....certainly sending from the uk to the usa anywho

I just got a customs bill for £32.26

as you know Alan I'm also after some of these, 86 notes is a lot for a pair or rear lights, but I think I'm prepared to pay that.

You did well Al, mine rushed me about £100 all-in, once HMRC and Royal Snail had taken their pounds of flesh. Worth it though!
Top tip, by the way: Get some super-bright orange LED bulbs for the indicators, they bleed through the red lens just fine (whilst obviously being clear and therefore invisible at 'rest') and flash with a definite orange colour. I'll see if I still have the eBay link for the ones I bought.

If you do some searching around on P21W amber LED bulbs (putting stuff like 'super bright' would probably be good) then you should find something suitable. If you remember though, Tim (bless him) soldered me in a pair of resistors at Ford Fair 2011 as the LEDs made the indicators flash at double speed. On the same day, he put me some extra bulb holders onto the sidelight loom (same as the ones for side repeaters) to fit into the marker lights, which I believe you have cut outs for in your light masks.

I paid about the same as Rich for mine without the hassle of import duties as mine were already in the UK.
Either way, it's a simple bit of modding to make them UK legal.
You don't even need a working reverse light as it's not part of the MOT.
Mine have passed two MOTs like this (reverse, indicator and tails all on).
The main issue is making the indicators flash orange. You can do what Rich did above or fit them in the reverse lense with an orange bulb.If you do what Manos did they're fine

No mate, I think that's just an optical illusion caused by not having that nasty orange blob in the middle. I always wanted a set of US spec rear lenses, even when I had my first Cougar and had never heard of this club, I think they just give a much 'cleaner' look. It's the same reason why I changed my orange side repeaters for white ones rather than crystal or smoked, I wanted them to tie in with the white reflector in the headlights. I also changed the orange front indicator bulbs (and those inside the side repeaters) for the mirrored type that don't look orange at rest.
I agree with Rich. They do look/seem more red, but i think it's just that the US spec ones are less fussy, not having the orange quarter.
