Thanks guys what's the best way to fit is it best to pre assemble it and drop it on?. Do we have a how to for fitting these?.

Fit the intake pipe and everything first and then just pop the cone on last to avoid it getting damaged whilst fitting the rest of it. Or something to that effect. Really straight forward tbh. Just remember to tighten the clips up muggle tight and not you or me tight

Yeah, don't tighten it to the point where the intake diameter is reduced to that of a McDonalds straw

JJ if i remember right you are best fitting a small bracket to the housing and i fixed the other end to the battery clamp- to stop it all from bouncing around
you cant see it in the pic but its there

What colour hoses have you got Jas? Red hoses are reinforced and much better than standard blue ones

Cone is a pig to fit to the pipe, needs boiling water to soften so that it stretches

Having experience of both this kit and the K&N I would be tempted to remove air filter box and fit cone and adaptor directly to the maf leaving the oem bellows in place, especially if you have anti moosing kit fitted

Mine doesn't have the anti moose I don't think although it's been a while since I saw Bogey so couldn't say for sure!, I have both colour hoses but none will be used managed to find a local place that makes them so getting some in a better colour as I do not want to use red or blue on a green car will look terrible.
