If it were me I'd go for a used dry one that came off a Cougar. This is by far the simplest and cheapest option.
The only thing with using a Mondeo specced one will be that it will have a different damping rate from the Cougar. Even the Mondeo ones have several versions depending on spec (Si/ST24 are sports suspension, ST200 sportier etc). And then there's the issue of the flatterned area on the rears, for wheel clearance, which is unique to the Cougar.
So if going for Mondeo ones you need to make sure they're a matched pair and you'll have enough wheel clearance.
Well I did the green goblins and with the exception of the offside rear which had a knackered T50 head it took me about an hour for both sidesit is easy to do mate
Manos, in an ideal world maybe, but functional and not dangerous using mismatched ones, rates wont be that different just as long as they dont leak, any damping is better than none at all, so a dry used one from a cat or mongy will be fine just as long as Ade doesnt do any sideways track days lol
Job done ;-) and yes thats why your drifting a FWD mate lol wheels bouncing its head off mid corner = zero grip on that wheel, might as well just have 3 wheels fella lol
