Can anyone in the UK actually justify what this is for? The roads are terrible and full of pot holes so it can't be used for fixing them. The light bulbs in traffic lights seem to be out in about 1 in 5 lights I passed and then when you're in London you have to pay tax again just to drive though it. I've been reading about this more and more with the removal of the tax disc and it seems you ALSO pay on fuel (which is what the rest of the EU do) so now I see they're charging 5% for the fact you're actually paying them money...

It is to pay for all the foreigners who think that the UK is the land of mil and honey but, discover it is different when the actually get here by one way or the other. That and all the other layabouts who will not work and expect the Government to bail them out every week. The UK Government is the most generous Government in the World, but, not to its own people though.
