Roush bodykit value

Tricky one - I suspect a few will answer with numbers that surpass that the value of the car it's intended for...potentially it's worth hundreds...but are you going to find that buyer?

I would love a Roush kit on mine, but alas cannot afford it, as mortgage savings come first.....Keep dreaming Tim....lol

Paul, they are rare, so anyone wanting a kit for their coug may and I say 'may' pay quite a lot for it. It's only worth as much as people want to pay for it. Good luck.

It is worth a fair bit no matter what condition or colour it is as these things do not matter as it would need to go into a bodyshop for correct fitting anyhow. Ebay might be your best route for maximum money but it is always worth offering it here first but that might not be possible due to the forum selling rules.

This thread in itself is a bit of a contradiction of that Peter but Paul, iirc a while back i suggested to somebody else who was selling a roush kit to start the bidding at £200, and the unanimous reaction at that time was that £200 was too low. I think if mine was going, i would try a test sale at £200 start with £400 reserve. That will either fetch you a good price or at the very least give you a target sale price. (y)

Roush kits are very well made and if the correct colour can be fitted with ease, they virtually just screw and stick in place with hardly any work

When I bought my old WW sides and rear, and the damaged no limits front, I paid £260 ish. All parts required a fair amount of prep work and the front needed fiberglass repairs, but I was happy paying what I did. So a full matching kit including spoiler, in my opinion should fetch around £400, maybe even more

Like anything else, it's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. Find someone who is desperate for a Roush kit then it's worth quite a bit. I'd try ebay with a high reserve and Best Offer (y)

Got to agree with everyone who has said you should chance your arm. It's desirable even if it needs work, (though as Peter says, it's going to need work regardless), and it's not unreasonable to set a reserve that you think is a good baseline.

There aren't many Cougar owners left, and even fewer that are actively modifying. But I would set a £300 reserve though with a hope of a £400 sale to an enthusiast.
