1999 Cougar V6X V818 NUG Silver manual 26,000 or thereabouts 1 owner

Sold 21/11/15 at Morris Leslie Classic car auction for £2,800 plus fees £2,968

I know it's not all about the money, but good to see Cougars finally entering the classic car scene.

Interesting:

Seems there's a Ferrari and a mobile phone connection here? ie: V818.

The reg morph is also interesting.

Interesting Al, thanks, do you think the price paid for the Coug is partly to do with the reg?

Anything old is going to fetch money by some point if its in good condition and in respect of some cars like the blue blood classics, Astons, Ferrr, jag, massers, lambos etc even a basket case will fetch a good price, the more mundane things are the ones to watch, a mini van going for £25000, mki escorts at £20000, the capri fetching big money now and a lot of these cars are not the top of the range gt,gti,rs etc, if its old in good nick and rare its going to be worth a fare bit in a few years.
