sill guards

I want to replace the sill guards.
Does anyone have any tips on the best way to remove and replace?

Use a hairdrier or heat gun on a low setting to warm-up the covers and then run a bit of fishing line under them in a sawing motion to cut through the adhesive. Use 3M, or similar, double-sided tape to replace.
