small Village fund raiser show

A friend of mine organises his local village fund raiser event year in Little Yeldham, Essex, and invited me this year (I couldn't go last year).

The bonus is I know this is something very relaxed, more of a village fete type thing and only 20 cars max. Plus set up is from 1030 so I knew I wouldn't have to get up too early.
So boot loaded up full, twins in their car seats in the back and off we headed for the 138 mile trip there.
Nice
Eclectic variety of cars, local produce, live music.
Was nice to do something different that the kids would enjoy.

Sapphire Cosworth is lovely and has a nice history (dealer training video vehicle), Escort Cabriolet belongs to the SVE engineer responsible for the entire program, lovely 280, nice white Injection Special (going for restoration now as he's just retired)....

Car ran beautifully and air con worked hard but did us proud. Averaged 33mpg which included some country driving as well as motorway..

And a few others...oh the Transit and Escort tribute was amazing. Owned by legendary Gordon Spooner and his son (although Gordon is in poor health)
