X Reg, loads of service history. It's a silver V6. Seems very clean.
I like it.

I've had Cougars before; funny how they draw you back in. :)

This seems a really friendly place. Mind if I stick around?

Evening Jim, nice to see you back. Would said old Ford happen to be a particularly quick and sharp-handling one, perchance?

Did you leave??? Piccy required, you know the rules

I more petered out than left I think, and I don't have a pic as it's not stopped raining. :)

Absolutely fantastic to hear from you mate. Missed you greatly(y)

That's very kind of you to say sir. Are you keeping up with the meds?

Evening.
I'm not sure I'd say "particularly". She's in good nick, nippy and handles well. As you's expect from a V6 cat.

Really great to see you again, matey!

I understand that the circumstances of this particular acquisition are heartbreaking for her previous owner, but I know you'll be a faithful caretaker.

We absolutely have to have a meetup soon - as many of us as can make it - for a lightweight MFSM. Maybe a detailing day once the weather improves a bit?

Hello Chris. :D

I would say so, and then some.

I think an interior to some extent maybe before the detailing, but absolutely, lets get trollied and point at broken car parts.

Any time, man. We've got gallons of Megiuars interior detailer and Angelwax "Heaven for Leather". Just give me enough notice to get some Costco steaks in and allow T enough time to escape to her sister's house!

No, wait. We'll need her to cook...

Ah, maybe not the one I had in mind then. I look forward to seeing the pics when they come.

Well now hang on. It probably is the car you think it is. An ST200 effortlessly pushing 210BHP without any stress. Built beautifully with every care to detail and no compromise. John really went to the wall with this and it was awesome to behold.

But if - like Jim - you've owned an ST220 Cougar that was pushing up to 300 something (not entirely sure but it was around there?) that ST200 is going to be a bit slower.

Hello Jim and welcome back. Good luck with your new acquisition. (y)

Thanks Andy; it's good to be back. It's amazing how easily life can sweep us up; and fate(?) brings us back around. I hope you're well?

Glad to see you post up old buddy :)

Waiting for you to get your stuff together so we can get cracking!

Old? Less of the old please. :)

There's going to be a few bits to get! Bear with.

Right.
OK then.
At the risk of the biggest quote collection in history;

Yes, it is the car you're thinking about; so much for playing it cool.

She is very quick; I'd say at this point about the same quickness as the 220 was supplying but a very different delivery. She's almost unhinged at the top end. :D While an exact figure for the 3 litre I never had it was never the smoothest curve....

So in all fairness to everyone; you're all right.

Currently the interior consists of 2 seats and 2 door cards so I know where my efforts will be going in coming days and weeks. :)
